the offical "Coming Clean of my Secret Dealings" post!

Some of you are already aware of this, but I guess it's time I address a certain matter publically since it's already seeping into the public sphere of knowledge. Not only that, I'm sure you're reading between the lines anyhow, as that's how human nature works.
I guess the story actually begins in the late summer of 2003. I was still on crutches and recovering from hip surgery, a two month veteran of Livejournal writing, and had just put on that Mike Knott show with Sarah. Out of the blue, my friend Jenna bought me a five movie pass to the Montreal Film Festival and a seminar that tied in since I couldn't afford it. Then David mentioned that some girl from BC was going to meet up with us, and I'm still not clear how that came about. That was how I met my friend Lois, who wound up at the Parisien in the seat next to me with her luggage. I don't remember what we talked about, but I was impressed with her wittiness right off the bat. She was only around for four days, but in that time, came to my old crackhouse apartment to watch the Simpsons with her hostel buddy and to a barbecue at the Brazzeals. We exchanged e-mail addresses and I figured it might be fun to keep in touch.
She would turn up on MSN once in a while, and we'd usually wind up chatting about whatever. Sometimes about important stuff, sometimes not. She was even chatting with me the night Jay the mouse ran by my door! I can't remember when exactly it was, but she sometime last fall/winter she started mentioning some family she knew that had moved here (who turned out to be Tony and Julie, who I've mentioned before) and invited her to stay with them if she wanted to come to Montreal. She kept hinting she was coming, and I didn't really think much of it until she suddenly appeared at Emerge one fateful Sunday night this past February with Julie. I was shocked, as I had no idea she was actually going to be here so soon, and we decided we should hang out.
If you've been reading this here blog, you'll know we've been hanging out. A lot. And we've communicated in some form pretty much every single day. And of couse, things got all confusing as is often the case when you see that much of a girl (or boy, if that's your preference). Then people started asking me what was going on, but I had no answer, which made matters more frustrating. And for some reason, people kept catching us together! What's that all about? The first time we hung out in a date-like situation, we ran into four of my friends! Then we ran into Bonnie twice , once randomly on the Metro, and she kind of just showed up once when Lois came over. So last Wednesday, during a conversation that got off to a really slow and awkward start, we decided we were officially an "us". It's been a change from my usual routine of hanging out at home by myself, watching stupid movies and being an introvert, but a welcome change. It's been really nice to have her around to go places with, and talk about everything with. Not only that, she's really amusing to be around and says funny things and is generally kinda...ballsy (That's my favorite word to describe her, as it's so ironic. And it sounds better with a thoughtful pause in front!).
You can expect to hear more about my continuing adventures with the Lo-Down!
